Junior Accounts & Office Administrator

Location: Coolock, D17

Permanent post subject to a 6 month probation period

Salary: €25-27K Neg DOE + access to company bonus scheme after 12 months service

Working Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday

Our client, a small but growing company specialising in buying & selling of pre-owned luxury products is seeking to hire a Junior Accounts & Office Administrator.  The role will involve assisting with day to day accounting and providing administration support, reporting to the Financial Controller. 

The ideal candidate will have office based experience and a desire to work with figures.  Completed courses/training in computerised accounts or allied would be a definite advantage.  Accounts training will be provided for a candidate with the right attitude and numeric ability

Skills required:

  • 1-2 years office experience
  • Completed training/studies in Accounts 
  • MS Office proficiency: Ms Word, Excel 
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Knowledge of computerised account

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day administration support to the Financial Controller
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Accounts Payable - reconciling, processing and posting of supplier invoices and payment (SAP Business One)
  • Accounts Receivable - daily invoice processing and posting (SAP Business One)
  • Credit control and debtors query management
  • Recording and reconciling of expenses, receipts and reports
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and budget preparation
  • Creating of sales reports, staff commission reports etc.
  • Ordering of office stationery, equipment and supplies - optimising cost and controlling of office budget
  • Booking travel arrangements for staff members
  • Answering calls and managing office correspondence
  • Maintaining and achiving of documentation and correspondence, in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Assisting the Branch Manager, as required
